Here’s how it works:
A temporary account is created for you by the Santa Barbara Tax Products Group. When the IRS deposits your refund into your temporary account, your fees are deducted from your refund and the balance is direct deposited to a bank account or prepaid card of your choice.
1A $29.95 fee is charged for the Refund Transfer. Refund Transfers are bank deposit products using Green Dot Bank, Member FDIC, that enable certain deductions from the account to be processed. Refund Transfers are not loans. Tax refund and e-filing are required in order to receive Refund Transfer. Fees apply. Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
